People are not statistics. These are human beings, sisters and brothers. These are parents who cannot feed their children; these are children who live without hope. Statistics can indicate the magnitude of the problem, but it takes love and courage to initiate a change we want to see in this world.

The Love Joy and Hope Foundation works actively in rural areas providing facilities for clean water and other related facilities. There are many villages in western India which have been identified as impoverished with lack of water supply and amenities.

“The Voice” is committed to seeing children reap the benefits of quality education and therefore explore a better future. With such hope, there is a greater likelihood that they will escape poverty, avoid exploitation, and improve personal health.

Bread of life

‘The Bread of Life’ Project involves distributing fresh food to the poor & hungry children on a monthly basis at various streets and by-lanes of the city of Mumbai. The Food Distribution Program plays an important “social role” where food is not just served, but served in an organized, friendly and dignified manner.

The walk of hope

“The Walk of Hope” Project has reached children in some rural parts of India where over 117 pairs of shoes have been distributed. Wearing shoes instead of walking barefoot offers these children protection and safety by reducing the risk of exposure to parasites like hookworm, pathogens, and hazardous substances.

Discover

Discover Love-Joy-Hope has held many celebration programs offering opportunities for orphaned children to mingle and celebrate with other children of the parish and find themselves as one family. These programs also opportunities for children to perform with one another and discover their potential and talent. Arise 2014, a program conducted by Discover Love-Joy-Hope brought together about 45 orphaned children and gave them the opportunity to have a fun filled evening of dance, music and entertainment with other children.
